BH Fitness I.F9R Treadmill Review
Last Updated: March 23, 2021
The BH Fitness I.F9R is a folding home treadmill with plenty of features for durable and smooth functionality. Priced a few hundred pounds lower than the BH F9R, it offers pretty much the same features with a few exceptions.
Here’s everything you need to know about the I.F9R:
- 4.0 CV Peak Motor
The motor of the I.F9R peaks at 4.0 CV, similar to the F9R’s 4.0/2.5 CV motor. It’s built to withstand 7 to 20 hours of use per week, which should be good enough for a home treadmill.
- Console Screen and Tablet Holder
The BH Fitness I.F9R console features an LED + Dot Matrix display, instant speed and incline keys, and feedback for all your workout stats. It also has a ledge to prop up your smartphone or tablet right on the console, along with a cooling fan to keep you comfortable.
- 22 km/h Top Speed and 12% Max Incline
The speed allowance on the iF9R is as good as it gets, even on many higher-end treadmills. 22km/h is usually more than enough and accompanied by incline levels up to 12%, you can expect to shed calories faster along with adding a strength component to your cardio workout.
- 55 x 155 cm Tread Belt with Shock Absorption
Even the largest people in our team had no issues with the roomy tread belt of the I.F9R, finding it comfortable with enough leg and elbow room. The Run+ damping system complements the orthopedic running belt in providing comfort. Using six high-density elastomers, it lightens the impact on your joints for a pain-free running experience.
- Convenient Folding Feature
The I.F9R has a space-saving, folding design, a handy feature for a home treadmill. Lift up the running deck until it’s vertical against the console for compact storage, and roll it over its wheels to a corner so it doesn’t get in your way after use. Thanks to the Soft Drop System, the deck lowers upon unfolding without any loud noises.
- 14 Preset Workouts
The 14 preset programs on the iF9R include Heart Rate Control via Triathlon software, and also a Body Fat Test. The treadmill supports the use of countless fitness apps as well, through Bluetooth-compatible iConcept technology.
- Dual Heart Rate Monitoring Options
Stay in the right heart rate zone with multiple methods of tracking your heartbeat. Besides the mainstream touch pulse sensors in its handlebars, the I.F9R also offers telemetry for monitoring your heart rate through a chest strap.

- Phone/tablet holder ledge
- 4.0 CV peak motor
- 22 km/h top speed
- Up to 12% incline

The I.F9R treadmill comes with:
- 2 year parts & labour
The BH Fitness I.F9R has a good combination of features at its price point, the best one being a 150 kg weight capacity. While it’s not from a top treadmill brand like NordicTrack or ProForm, it does seem to offer enough options for regular home workouts.
